Berlin

Berlin - Feb 2015
Even though this had been my second time in Berlin I don't cease to be impressed.

Such an amazing city, full of history, art, culture. A friend said Berlin looks like a third world country within a first world continent. It's shabby, it's not roundlessly pretty, it's full of artsy type people, many graffitied walls, however it's German ruling. However, that's the magic of it.

Berlin, is a city that is not afraid to bend the rules and be more. "In Berlin everyone does what they want. No police will come." Said Hans the owner of a shop in Prenzlauer Berg. Such a laid back culture. London feels constricted, rushed and structured in comparison.

Just go and experience it. It will never dissapoint.

Tips: Be prepared to cry in every corner near the wall, where landmarks tell you the story of the reunion.

Where I stayed: Prenzlauer Berg and Friederschain

Where to stay:

Prenzlauer Berg: Quiet and residential, however lots of bars allocated in surrounding streets. Not a party area, but party options available. Lots of cafes and restaurants.

Friederischain:if you are looking to party, but party tecno style, surrounded by grafitti style walls, this is the place to be
